The New Girl

on our blog isn't actually human girl, it is a little dog! i thought a blog mascout could be kind of fun so my medoll went straight to the staplaza pet store and bought a l little puppy which now will be part of our little adventure through the stardoll fashion universe. please welcome :

 Cruella Cucumber aka CC
i haven't really thought about what her area of responsibility will be but i will of course inform you about as soon as i have an idea. talking about cc the chanle tribute is no longer avalible at the starplaza and i hope you guys get what you want. ok i know i was a lazy blogger these last days but i have to work a lot on my portfolio for university and i haven't the time a need to prepare good posts. do not be mad at me it will get better after the holidays i promise.

The Alpine Chalet

remember this mysterious message:

the mystery is solved. the alpin chalet is now avalible at the suit shop, for all those who still have left some money.

i personally will NOT buy this useless piece of christmas shit (excuse my french). i need to pull myself together as have i spend many $ at LE and i'm sure the not so pretty DVF tribute won't be the last tribute store opening its doors for us. but if you get a glimmer in your eyes when the snow starts falling and and the air smells like cookie dough for you go ahead.

here we have JUNONUNO standing in her very own chalet. it's decorated really nice check out her suit (but rember never copie be inspired or ask if you like something). as we see here for those who like to decorate their suit its a nice (but still a really expensive) offer but i'm not one of those. i have what i call a six room creativity when it comes to decorating means after six rooms my creativtiy is empty and my storage too. sorry if i sound a bit unhappy and disillusioned but i'm just not a big christmas fan ... call me a grinch if you want.

Searching for Rare Pieces

is one of the most difficult and annoying things you can do on SD. but we all do it. my last search has finally come to an end because last night i found the Elizabeth and James Relaxed James Blazer! if you visit my suit regularly you may have stumbled over my desperate cry for help finding this rare garment. after nearly one month of searching i had given up and as i visited the starbazaar yesterday (big thank you to my insomnia again !)  searching for some st. trinians stuff ... puff there it was as if it has waited only for me.

me and my new best friend haha. call me mental i don't care.

everybody who is collecting something knows this feeling when you finally found what you've been searching for. that's why a real SD collector knows the six steps of searching for rare pieces.

you start with full power and you're sure you will find the things fast because "it can't be that hard." but this does not happen really often. so the hard work starts. you search at the bazaar which is horrible because the search option is the worst. you can't search for every brand you like. you can't search e.g. for  black dresses. you only can search for black clothes in general or for dresses, i mean this is so fucking useless! so you stop searching at the bazaar and look via broadcast and uh you find somebody (after hundrets of covergirl broadcasts) who is selling what you want but your offer will be ignored and sombeody else get the piece. totally despair you stop your searching and after some time you accept that you will never find it and than you finally discover it. this process can last a few hours, days or months. all this searching could be alot easier if only the starbazaar wouldn't be such a mess. is it this hard to develope a search system one can actually use? that was just something i need to get off my heart ...

HURRY !

i have no time to write a long poetic post about the fact that the NEW LE IS OUT, just ruuun and get you piece of the cake if you know what i mean. same place as always ... good luck.

up date about what i bought is coming soon.

UPDATE

ok now that i am calm again (LE always makes me hysterical) i can keep my promise showing you what i have bought and some real life versions on which the new LE collection is based but before that a little what-do-i-think-about:
i first recognized the prices have risen. last LE collection you could buy a shirt for 55 $, but at the current one you won't find this price for a shirt. but its LE and what can we do about it anyway. the whole concept of this collection is not really my style but i have to say the quality of the graphic is as good as always, speaking of graphic some SD users always complain about the quality of LE clothes. i tooke some pictures too show what a difference is between LE clothes and other special storel like the new chanel tribute.

on the left side we have the red quilted chain bag by the new chanel holiday tribute and on the the right side we have faux fur bucket bag by LE. as you can see the LE graphics are way better. realistic details and no pixel shit as we have on the left but this qulity has its pirce of course. when you buy a H&M bag you won't get the same fabrics as you get buying a marc jacobs bag.

but enough with the ciritcal chitter chatter lets see on what i could get my hands on hehe!

i didn't bought much clothes as they are always so expensive, but as i saw this jacket i even ignore its color because of the cut and the look as a whole. i think you can combine it really good with all those different styles we have on SD and as it is nearly sold out after just one hour seems like i am not the only one thinking that! so be fast if you want to have this gorgeous little piece in you wardrobe. the feather shoulderpads are just so rad i could not resist buying them, maybe there not for everyday life of a medoll but don't they look super cool !!!

i always buy more LE accessories comparing to the clothes they are much cheaper, sadly this LE collection has just a few accessories but i found some i could definitly use. the pale blue chain heels i saw at the spoiler before and could not wait to buy them. they are well desgined and they look really realistic so do the other two pieces i bought, don't know if i will ever use the feather headpiece maybe for a SD christmas outift. all in all i could pull myself together and  didn't spend to much SD.
rember, just because its limited you don't need to spend 5000 $ (yes i read that at the comment section of USD someone really spend 5000 $ insane!) just buy what you like and if you like nothing than ... buy nothing. simple but not always easy.

at the end of this post i just wanted to say i'm really sad SD had to realease another LE collection but still no new antidote ...

~ REAL LIFE VERSIONS ~

the pale blue shoes maybe are based on this shoe from john gallioano's fall ready to wear 2011 collection.

the feather headpiece is from the same galliano collection the shoes are from

the pink motor jacket is based on this one which was part of mark fast's fall ready to wear collection 2011 many pieces of the newest LE colletion are based on this wondefull collection, check out the runway show at mark fast's webside!

Little Doors

are about to be opened ... yes the time has finally come. snow, cheesy films, candy, gifts, love and more candy ... its christmas time my least favourite time of the year. everybody smiles and forced happiness is what dictates our emotions. i know i shouldn't be so ugly and celebrate and i do because i'm the worlds best liar haha! christmas is here and of course SD hasn't forget about it. the traditional advent calender is now avalible for all SD citizens.

and here it is. it looks waaaay better than the last one i think. it really looks like the one my parents bought me. BUT SD feels generous this time of the year, we got a second calender, no this time i am not lying i promise!

ha! see a second one and a really special one too. hotbuys calender that means 31 one hotbuys in one month. i'm really excitetd how they will look like. hm seems the boring days of the last month's were i nearly felt asleep after logging into SD are finally over.

To Be Or Not To Be

BIG UPDATE

THE CHANELL TRIBUTE IS NOW OFFICIALLY RELEASED ! THE EVENTS OF YESTERDAY NIGHT WERE JUST A GLITCH (BUT KEEP ON READING IF YOU ARE CURIOUS WHAT HAPPEND ANYWAY)

that is the question in our little SD user heads, and what is the reason of all this questioning? clearly the events which happend last night. for the first time i have to own my insomania a thank you ... i mean a really faty fat thank you! i was up yesterday night as i saw some strange clothes at the new section of spotlight, ok the clothes weren't really that strange in fact they looked quiet nicely but what really makes me suspicious was the price. a dress 33 $ a jacket 30$ i mean ok SD was a bit greedy the last weeks (remember the white tank top for 120 $c !) but this much for a normal jacket?! i went to starplaza to see if i could find the clothes in the new section too ... and suprise i found them and the little lable hanging on these clothes says CHANEL TRIBUTE! i was totally shocked and had to buy some stuff immediately.

a picture as a proof i'm not totally mental !

the only problem that accrued was the accessories didn't show up in my suit after i bought them, so i went to bed. as i logged in this morning the accessories just arrived at my suit as the clothes did yesterday night. but than i went to the starplaza checking out the store, because i believed it was now officially released but the clothes have been removed from the new section and it seems like there never have been there, but i still have those i bought?! total confusion on my side i must admit. i wrote this post for my own safety and to inform you about all this. at the end SD will take the stuff i own and say they never have been there.

we know this event can now developed in to different direction:

1. the clothes will never return to staplaza again and will be as rare as the miss sixty DO NOT USE pieces.
2. the clothes will return after the gift-o-meter offer is over, because normally SD always released special stores after those gift-o periods ended so people had spend more money to get the "free gifts" and had to refill there $ to buy as much as possible at these tribute, limited and so on stores.

i think the second direction is way more likely as the first one and i think most of you pray that the first one will not happen. keep calm and remember this is just a game, as my dear friend ALIE CATTE in a PCPA discussen once said.

one last thing before i close my post. do you remember this little fella on the below picture.

one of the most popular accessories in our little crazy SD world and now it is back in town as one would say, you can buy them at EVILPANDA shop for 60 $c each, seems like christams came early to us! but as my mum always says "nothing is really sure, not even that", you better be fast who knows maybe it's a glitch too.

The Truth

is that the "super cool" gift-o-meter is just another way of SD to get our hard earned money. you can call me an naysayer but the facts are on my side:

gift-o-meter or greed-o-meter
fact 1.  should i buy stuff to get free stuff ?
of course first we get the impression that SD is throwing a big gift party and everyone gets a piece of cake but are those gifts really for free ... that depends, if you see something at the SD mall and buy it because you like it and get a gift because the piece you baught costs more than 10 $ but if you only buy things to get the free stuff you're doing something wrong because now the things are not really freebies anymore. do you understand what i mean?
an example: you reall like the purple sweater and want to have it so you buy things till you reache 50 $ and yeay you get the sweater for free ... see what went wrong here ?!

fact 2.  is there a intention behind this special and super kind offer ?

i don't know if you recognized it but the last times SD brought us the gift-o-meter something happend after the week of senseless shopping was over ... they released speical stores (just like they released LE after everybody has spend all their money at the pet-a-porter shop) sneaky little SD.

i just shop if i see something i like and if i get a gift too i am happy if not i don't care, and if i like something of the gifts offered in the gift-o-meter i just go to the bazaar and buy it,  so i bought the round collar blouse.

i payed just 18 $c if i had to get it the "normal" way i had to spend 150 $ (hello !), maybe you know this little trick already but for those who don't i hope i could help a little bit. hm see if we get a new LE store next week or even better a new antidote store, when we're all out of money.

by the way did you recognized how stardoll is spaming the broadcast, i mean its  awfully annoying even worse than those desperate covergirl dolls!

SD Blog Travel Guide

would be usefull wouldn't it? I mean nevermind which suit you're visitng 90 % are advertising there blogs in it (shame on me i'm one of them). this  huge number of blogs makes it difficult to find those who really are interesting  for yourself, you may now say "pff who needs those silly SD blogs anyway, this a game we should't take this too far." believe me this is bullshit. i once said this to myself and missed the best store ever in SD history (st. trinians 2 shop), if you wanne expierence SD as whole its easier (and funnier too)  to have some help i mean that is what blogs are for (accept those stupid gossip blogs which i think are really unnecessary) to help each other and share ideas.

but lets get back to the to-many-blogs-which-is-interesting-for-me problem. i thought of arrange a little blog travel guide, of course this travel guide is based on my interests but if you are a constant reader and like my thoughts i think you will like this guide too.

my interest are: free stuff (of course) and news about upcoming stores and projects, spoilers and
                           fashion and lifestyle/szene

1.) FREE STUFF

nearly every day you can get free items on SD, most of them are just shitty but a few pieces are really great and even worth using a proxy. sadly there is no blog which only shows you how to get those seldom cool things (because it's impossible one person things a free cat is super cool the next things its just boring) but there is one blog which only shows you how to get free stuff.

pages full of freebies of course not all of them are still avalible. i think this is definitely worth to bookmark isn't it?  and for all those who still things those freestuff blogs are unnecessary, rember this:

yes ! the beloved bandana was a free item once, you see checking out on blogs can be usefull once in a while.(update: the super rare bandana is no longer super rare as you can get it at the starplaza again for 4 $ yeay thank you stardoll ... NOT!)

2.) SPOILER AND NEWS

i know some of you may have a problem with the so called spoiler it steals the joy of a happy surprise when you log into SD and see some wonderfull dress, but for me those spoilers are quiet handy. a little example, you have 20 $ left and you buy a nice shirt for 10 $ and the next day you log in and see this wonderful dress which fits perfectly into your wardrobe but it costs 15 $ yep i had this situation more than once. spoilers can help you with that alot. besides spoliers it's always good to be updated with all the SD news, upcoming stores or projects. the best blog for this is a really populare one which you maybe already know

here you will be informed about everything on SD, the posts are always well written and the blog is updated almost everyday, i can recommend it to you all.

3.) FASHION AND LIFESYTLE

of course SD is just virtual world, a game we play to calm down or have fun. the love for fashion is what conglomerates us all and its always nice to share ideas how we can use the things SD gave us to create our very own style, those blogs are my favourite because they always inspire me sadly i haven't found many of them

the last one is a really well known blog in the goth scene of SD, everyone who is a bit more alternative will find helpful behind-the-item facts and so on, if you're interested in fashion than you probably want to know on which design the digital SD clothes are based on. to find that out visit

ok last but not least i would recommend a new blog i recently got featured in and which i think is a interesting one, the owner is MANDAMICHALKA.

ok i think this is it i hope my little guide could help you a bit!

Stardoll Actually

did something really cool. yeah i'm not joking. today they add a new designfunction to the side. in STARDESGIN JEWELRY you can ... guess what, design jewelry ! and its really worth a try (sadly it is only for superstars) you can choose between a number of different things  (glasses, necklace, earrings and so on) and you also have the possibilty to add up to 5   charms to your design for only 1 $ (!), so all in all a good offer ok some things could be better but nobody's perfect. below a little photo set of my first selfmade jewelry desgin.

here you see all the different steps, i must admit i had fun creating this necklace which i named death (yes i'm morbid ), what really catches my eye was the ear cuff chain i love to wear those outside of SD and now my alter ego got one too !

and for those who are in the full state of a pre winter depression i've got another 8tracks mixtape of mine. check it out! it is full of melancholia and sad girls music.

Graphisme Nr.1

for those who doesn't speak french, graphisme means to have an individual style, and as i stumbled over this word i thought it would be the perfect titel for a new column here on nymph attire. much of my inspiration for all my outfits on SD are rooted in the real life but in the last 3 years i found some girls with a unbelivable refreshing style blowing my mind everytime i visit their suits and with graphisme i would like to present some of these dolls and their style.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

kladiaaa, 17, poland, girl

what makes her style special: kladiaaa as you can see looking at the three examples below, is focusing on a speical use of color, her outfits often are dominated by black and grey but only these colors wouldn't make her outfit that good its the neon effect which always appears somewhere in the clothes she is wearing, it can be a brooch (outfit 1) or  red strands of hair (outift 2) kladiaaa always has an eyecatcher for us ... graphisme !

outfit 1

Image and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPic

outfit 2 and outfit 3

as we now have seen some examples of kladiaaas style you may want to know something about her thats why i create a little interview every person i choose to be potrayted here has to do.

where do your inspiration come from?
movies, people and some clothes that i see, and immediately I have an idea of how to use them. its just inside me and sometimes the idea is hidden, just one piece of clothes and immediately know what i want to do.

do you have a fashion icon ?
i love street fashion, i'm always watching people and browsing fashion blogs, my favourite are "Le Blog De Betty" and some polish "Alicepoint".

what is always in your bag ?
my bag is the most messy place in the world, full of dark things: my phone, 2 pairs of headphones because im breaking them often and can't live without music, ipod, mascara, biggest wallet in the world, miniature versions of perfumes of nina rici and sephora girls mini perfumes, sudoku, apple orbit, calendar and some pens :)

your favourite piece of cloth ?
hmm can't choose, my favourite things are golden converse with baroque styled pattern (my best buy ever) and grey jeans.

during night time i ...
listen to music and trying to sleep ;D i can't sleep without music, always sleeping with headphones.

we now have reached the end of our little trip through kladiaaas virtual wardrobe and a visit at her suit is definitly worth it.

Dear Copy Cat ...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

there is something (i recognize) what is about to grow stronger ... copying. it seems like the rising number of SD citizens has the aftermath that the creativty is slowly getting smaler and smaler. some really good friends of mine had to deal wiht this problem. i just need to speak up for my own peace.

being copied is something honorable it means that you are so good others want to be like you. many people dress like lady gaga to show them how in love they are with all the crazy lady stands for but in our world beyond SD its easy to see who did it first in this case stefanie germanotta, on SD its not that easy, and i think this is the big problem, if i copy a suitroom and first ask the owner/creator and or write in my presentation for example "left room second floor original designed by ..." but no! the mean copy cat just claims it as her or his own, and this is not fair. be original, be yourself. is it this hard. its ok to get inspired by another medoll but not to be a clone of her. but what really gets on my nervs and is the reason why i'm here sitting on my laptop and write all this is the sad fact that now they start copying medoll faces ... hello ! you try to be unique, to create a look which let you leave an impression in people's head. than you walk down the street and see somebody with your face! just to transform this into a real life situation. its way much more fun and interesting to let your medoll do this development with your very own thoughts. but for those who really have no idea here are some tipps:

1. GIVE IT TIME
(no medoll is pefect after one second and who is it outside of SD)

2. CLICK AROUND TUMBLR
(this side really has some nice inspiring pictures, thousands of photos wait for you to inspire you)

3. LOOK INTO THE MIRROR
(even if you don't like your outer appearance there is something you think is at least nice and this can perfectly be used for your medoll )

even though i don't know if this post will reach those who should read it you can spread the word anyway. i normaly don't do this kind of post but this was something i just needed to talk about because it makes me sad and it makes SD a less joyfull place.

Best Halloween Look

looks i mean because i found two outfits which blow my mind, to understand during the last few days i wander through the pre halloween suits of SD searching for the best halloween look, and o found two wonderful medolls who take the theme halloween and do their really own thing with it.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

ANNE.SOFIE created a spooky outfit full of elegance. reminds me of a classic vampire lady look (the vampire look befor the twilight film series destroyed everything), but with the smile on her medolls face we also have the funny character of halloween which shouldn't be forgotten. great job anne sofie !

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

KLADIAAA she is one of my best friends on SD and i was so impressed by this outfit. ii know its not really a halloween costume but its like blood trensformed into a dress. she wears it just without a lot if accessories and i think thats the key. a minimalist outfit which stands for the ghost of halloween (wow that was really deep wasn't it).

ok that was my little best-halloween-look special post take some time to visit these two dollies they really have something special.

Teen Witch (get the look)

this style is different because i don't even know if you could call it a style like vintage, indie, hipster and so on, it's just a name for all this grunge revival, messy, trash couture young (fashion interested) girls like to wear. the best example for a real teen witch is TAVI GEVINSON, when i was at her age i wish i had a friend like her (i would missed some horrible fashion mistakes i did) teelling me how boring casting bands are and how cool courtney love and twin peaks are.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
here we have some looks inspired by tavi gevinson my teen witch icon and below we have some pictures of the littly missy which shows her style really good but for those who still have this big "what the hell !" in their brain i think you have to read through tavis blog to get it. she also has now an online magazin for teen girls check ROOKIE out.

1. sequin patch dress by voile holiday store 2. in the nets skirt by rio (40 $c) 3. chloe sandals by bonjour bizou (vintage) 4. leather satchel by versus tribute (vintage) 5. DIY teenage suicide tee (10 $) 6. blake ruched shorts by young hollywood (vintage) 7. satin bra by bonjour bizou (vintage) 8. heeled loafers by bonjour bizou (50 $c) 9. blinded by silence tee by bonjour bizou (vintage) 10. camilla waterlily frock by young hollywood 11. mini leather belt by bonjour bizou (30 $c) 12. spider web tights by fallen angel (vintage) 13. scarf by fallen angel man (10 $c) 14. floral sandals with socks by evil panda (70 $c) 15. PIP crop top by  pretty n love (vintage) 18.  textured orange miniskirt by tingeling halloween shop 19. yellow collared top by versus tribute (vintage) 20. rustle of wind skirt by bonjour bizou (10 $)

here we have some more SD clothes you can use for your personal teen witch outfit, the most important thinks to get your outfit done are clothes how look innocent and prissy BUT make sure you have a little bit of a lolita in it too, use see-through fabrics and really short skirts those should be combined with some tights. black and pastel colors are good to use too and necklaces which have a touch of your past (that means they should look like if a cute little girl could also wear them) oh and be a bit creative with your make up.

some inspiring pictures for my readers (i could post thousands of those pale elegant photos), the biggest insperation for this look i would recommend the films the virgin suicides and ghost world, generation X, the band hole, fashion houses like rodarte and meadham kirchhoff. its a playfull fashion  with sex in it not easy to style but so fucking marvellous.

after watching this impressive collection i hope you are as fascintated by all these clothes as i am and you may understand what i was trying to explain (still i'm not really good in this) and you will try to create an outfit in honor to tavi and all those other teen girls how try to not be afraid of being different and being sexy in an innocent way ...

LE DECOR

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

without a ! because i can't understand all the ta-dah about LE i mean the idea is good but often the LE stuff is overprized and the clothes sometimes look as if you wear a piece of plastic. you may know now why i'm a bit late with my post about the new LE decor collection.  of course i couldn't resist buying some but i had to stop myself with the sentence i always tell myself when some new decor is released "you are a fahion dolli not a interior dolli!" i think that on SD whe have those who focus at interior desing and creating a fabulous suit like my dear friend ANNE.SOFIE and we have those who infest more into clothes like i do. i mean a well designed suit is also important for me but i focus (my money) on fashion. however here is what i bought:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

pair of glass vases each 15 $

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
 industrial Table 55 $

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

standing mirror 45 $

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
and a board  50 $

i haven't found any RL versions, sorry but it seems like its a bit more difficult as it is with clothes. something i didn't bought (because its just to decadent for me) were the pair of sleeping bambies in a glas bowl but i know who does such "art work" outside of SD ... POLLY MORGAN. she is a british artist who uses dead animals (she doesn't kill them she uses animals who died naturally!) for her art. she creats some kind of a sculpture. and i think the sleeping bambies you could bought at the LE decor shop got inspired buy this work of morgan.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

i really like this kind of morbid and surrealistic art, it has this beauty of nature but also its cruelty. it just makes me speechless looking at it but i would never buy something like this (maybe a picture of it) its to scary to have some dead animal in my flat and thats why i didn't bought the two "sleeping" deers.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
a little collage of polly morgans work and the artist herself.

Ok this is it i hope you haven't spend all your hard earned stardollar at this store and don't forget to ... keep edgy and keep rad !
